I had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with Volverde.com on a collection that blends Mexican tradition with a modern twist. Our goal was to create designs that honor the rich cultural heritage of Mexico while incorporating contemporary elements. Throughout the process, we remained committed to Volverde’s mission of conscious sourcing and sustainability, ensuring that every piece was not only visually compelling but also environmentally responsible. This collaboration allowed us to celebrate craftsmanship and culture, while supporting a sustainable future for design.

Bedding Designer Overview

My journey as a surface designer has profoundly shaped my artistic approach. With a background in digital creativity, I draw much of my inspiration from the retail industry, where I honed my skills and understanding of design. During my time as a bedding designer, I gained a deep appreciation for the quality and craftsmanship required to bring prints and patterns into people's homes. Collaborating with a talented team, we transformed beautiful hand-painted silk prints and watercolor artwork into repeatable designs, using digital techniques to refine and enhance them—creating elegant yet affordable pieces that felt almost magical.

These experiences have undeniably influenced my bold, distinctive style. While I’m drawn to clean lines and clear shapes, I also challenge myself to embrace more organic, expressive forms driven by my emotions. This balance of precision and creativity allows me to continually explore and push the boundaries of my craft.

Water Color, Florals and More

One of my favorite tasks as a designer was working with watercolor hand painted art and converted into beautiful repeats to create bedding looks inline with popular tends and design.

Geometric Designs

My personal taste has always gravitated to abstract looks and geometric shapes. The challenge behind rendering these undefined looks into repeatable prints capable of commercial printing and reducing its thousand color nature into a max of ten and still maintaining its essence was incredibly rewarding.

Kids Bedding and Prints

Oh how I miss designing kids bedding. There’s nothing like invoking your inner child, drawing your favorite characters and converting prints into a magical design full of color and spirit. Definitely the most fun I ever had!
